Following extensive work with specialist spa designers and consultants, The Cairndale Hotel has revealed details on its plans for the impressive £2 million, two-storey spa set to open in Dumfries in late Spring.
Perfectly located just a short drive from the Scottish Border and only an hour-and-a-half from Glasgow Airport, the spa is poised to offer a relaxing escape for tourists looking to explore the natural beauty of Scotland, guests seeking to escape the hustle and bustle of larger cities and locals ready to enjoy a luxury Spa experience within easy reach.
The spa will cover almost 1300 square metres, allowing guests to enjoy space and tranquillity with a variety of different relaxation areas. The thermal pool, with a variety of jets, water blades and airbeds, will take pride of place on the lower ground floor.
In addition, visitors will be able to enjoy a rasul, aroma steam room, herbal steam room, Himalayan salt sauna, infrared sauna, herbal lounge, hammam and private bathing suite. A dedicated café and juice bar will be accessible to spa guests, while treatments will be available across six, private rooms.
VIP spa booking slots are expected to go live on Monday 1st April, with those who signed up to the spa database being given early access to secure the first bookings ahead of the spa’s late Spring launch.
Director, Matthew Wallace Jnr, who is leading the spa project said:
"Work on delivering the new Spa at The Cairndale Hotel is going exceptionally well with the space transforming on an almost daily basis. We are eight weeks into the construction phase and it’s exciting to see plans coming together. We have researched extensively and worked hard to truly understand what Spa visitors want. We feel confident that we are going to deliver a world-class experience, supported by state-of-the-art facilities, highly-trained therapists, sustainable British brands and a hotel team that cares about exceeding guest expectations.”
